Dr. Stacy Townsend is an accomplished biomedical researcher with a strong background in program management and strategic planning. Her expertise includes navigating the complexities of scientific innovation and commercial development, making her an asset in leading start-ups and research projects through various stages of growth.

With experience spanning pre-clinical proof-of-concept, drug discovery, and regulatory processes, Dr. Townsend excels at integrating scientific appeal with technical feasibility and clinical needs. She has a proven track record of building and managing relationships between top academic institutions and research units, fostering collaborations that drive innovation.

In her previous roles, Dr. Townsend served as Director of Preclinical Development at SciBac and Interim Executive Director at the Molecular Sciences Institute, where she directed research projects, ensured regulatory compliance, and supported the development of novel therapeutic solutions. As Vice President of Research at Synedgen, Inc., she led research on therapeutic glycopolymers and managed multidisciplinary teams focused on developing and marketing innovative products.

Dr. Townsend holds a PhD in Life Sciences and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
